Mr Elles
Born in the UK, London, and brought up in South East London, 25-year old Mr Elles first tasted stardom in a vocal group, trio of talented individuals who had made a name for themselves through talent shows, and performances around the UK and Europe via a short tour in Italy; set to be the next big thing, his group where way beyond their years, bewildering audiences with complex stage performances and raw talent, very much similar to the hot South East London trio of today Fun*dmentals..

Being in the group was definitely a learning experience as it shows how you can be here one day and be the flavour of the month and then gone tomorrow,
he reflects.

A brief stint with a So Solid style group of Mc, Singers and rappers followed however that was short lived. It was at that time where his passion for being in the spotlight faded hanging up his mic, and returning to just listening and watching others do it. At that time he recalls,

I would still practise just as a joke but stopped taking it seriously

it was also at that point that a new love had developed, a rekindled flame, with that of hip hop, and UK Rap /grime,

I started listening to hip hop, and the likes of Fabulous, Jadakiss , Jay-Z and our very own Dizzy, and the then Lethal B cartel More Fire Crew.

I was a big supporter of So Solid and the likes of Miss Dynamite, he recalls I like the fact that they could all interpret issues and feelings in a different way instead of singing a balled they could write down a few lines that would get across the same message, but reach a sometimes totally different audience.

"I played keyboards, piano, and a little drums, I also rapped even in my old group

even though he still had a passion for R&B and soul, and the likes of Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson, he had a new love for Hip Hop, Elles would practise making up rhymes during work to some of his favourite tracks
