us Asians in an all white high school
had an uphill battle. The cheerleaders
we liked never gave us a glance as
well as struggling against racism or
the stereotypes of us being the nerds
or model minorities. Elton chose the
righteous route in which was to study
hard and excel in academics so later
on from now you could laugh off all
those bad memories by enjoying
success. I chose the different route
in which was fighting them headfirst
no matter what. regardless of what
decisions we made in the past, elton
is a true testament of asian american
excellence who beat the odds and it is
nice to see that he is doing well.
sure we disagreed on many issues but
elton was always a fighter and i
respected him cause he would never
back down. i'am glad to have known
this honorable man's acquaintace and I
just can't wait to see him on the
front page of Businessweek. Much
respect do, Elton's a cool cat!
