I realized recently who I am. I mean, who I really am. I am Chris - a quirky, off the wall, talkative, spontaneous and fun guy. I couldn't be serious if I tried. I speak my mind without thinking, which is good and bad. I am someone who is no longer willing to settle for anything less than what I think I deserve in a relationship. I want romance, respect, and humor! That's not so much to ask, is it?

compared to certain other Dancing
Divas, he's the sweetest guy in the
world. I don't expect he'll approve this
testimonial, though.
We have shared many, many
laughs, and some tears, and he
knows me better than I know
myself sometimes. He also knows
a tremendous amount of Golden
Girls trivia, and listens to the
shittiest music ever! But I love
him anyway.
He's the first friend of Shannon's I have
ever met. He sends me Snapple Real
Facts so I don't have to buy Snapple
myself and when Shannon bakes him
cookies, I usually steal some for myself
while she's not looking. That's why Chris
is a special guy.

So, I'm pulling out all the stops. My first
memory of Chris is, well, honestly
about... umm some year in college. We
had known each other a lot longer but
my memory fades with each passing
day, like water on the sands of time. I
always do what Chris asks of me... well,
if I can remember to do it. If he
says "Scream!" I scream. If he
says "Don't talk to Kelly anymore
because I'm jealous," I won't talk to
Kelly anymore, until I forget not to talk
to Kelly anymore six minutes later. If he
says I made him go get ice cream
because of the testimonial I wrote to
Kelly about her liking chocolcate I don't
say "That's stupid because chocolate
isn't ice cream. And furthermore, you're
just trying to have a schtick and it ain't
working." I say "I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Okay, I'm sorry." Because that's how
much I love him.
