Testimonials and Comments for Peter
Campus lawn in 1993, talking about
poetry, and just coming to the
conclusion that we were two of the
best writers we knew... when SPITZ!
SPITZ! FOOSH! the sprinklers started
up. But I was the only one that got
soaked. Draw your own conclusions.
little friend in relation to Peter,
because he is so worldly and
sophisticated. I mean, just look at the
picture, with the tie and the steely,
probing gaze. But I just realized that
he is a year younger than me. Ow. Stop
it. It hurts.
share DNA, and a womb once, I can still
give an unbiased opinion of him. He is
without a doubt the smartest person I
have ever had the pleasure to know.
(Alright, except maybe Professor Arnold
Weinstein. But he makes all other
professors look like wusses.) He
possesses an amazing breadth of
knowledge and a stunning depth of
insight and analysis. In fact, he often
makes me feel like a dumbass, except
for his (shall we say) charming naivete
about most practical matters. He is
also exceedingly kind and generous,
which I try to remind myself of when
he's being a sonofabitch. He can be
both shy and also command the attention
of an entire room of people. He can -
and does - read more than anyone I've
ever known (actually, to an almost
frightening degree - I worry his eyes
will fall out.) Best of all, Peter has
a well-developed sense of the absurd,
and an instantaneous infectious laugh
that I appreciate most of all. And also
I am very sorry about that time in
second grade that I bit him.
was still in new haven and i was in high
school. his stimulating conversations
kept me up till the early dawn hours
PST. he's like the wild west wind and
i've been waiting for him to blow my way
ever since. i hope to meet peter in
person one day. meanwhile, i can't wait
for my package from amazon.uk to arrive.
it's the best pay for play i've ever done.
pretty easily slice through the 3 to 6
thousand miles and sketch a man of
considerable taste, insight, and self-
regard. He's an excellent way to waste
an hour online, and apparently wrote a
play once. He's one of the people I
most look forward to meeting in this
life.
