(okay... I have a hearing problem), I can't watch scary
movies (I am a avid-jumper), I get lost even with a navigation system, asked for a stranger's boxer briefs and win a scavenger hunt, a believer in good, may be goofier than Goofy (LOVE DISNEYLAND), overwhelming lover (you can take it any way you want! LOL), confidence booster-upper, can spend hours in a greeting card store finding that perfect card, enjoy community/church serving (been doing it for over 10 years), and like the smell of books in the library (a nerd at heart)

her friend here...and i was like who's
this? (didn't recognize the last name
girl!) After some common sense and my
super duper detective reasoning
abilities =Th, i figured out who this
was. Charmaine! How could i forget! I
was a freshmen in Photography with a
whole bunch of upper classmen, shy as
hell, and probably shakin like a dog
after a cold bath...anyways, this girl
made the effort to be my friend and
I'll never forget that. Its been YEARS
since I've seen her, but I'll never
forget what a sweet person she is.
Thanks Charmaine for being such a
sweetie!
sister. She almost had to whoop my ass
a couple of times, due to my immaturity
towards her sister. I know its a
little late, but congrats on your
marriage.
charmin's testimonial because i want
to get it right the first time i write
it. meeting her early in my first
year of college at cki mtgs was a
really great thing for me. i was able
to, what they would say, "come out of
my shell" because i was around such a
positive spirit like charmaine. she
made me feel comfortable to be myself
in this new and strange environment
called college. she is someone i like
being in the company of because she is
always very optimistic about things
and always has this huge smile on her
face... it seriously lights the
darkest of rooms! when i am in her
presence, it is always hard to
suppress a laugh. i always liked
visiting her at the c-store even when
i had nothing to buy just so i could
get my laugh on for the day : P and
even tho we hadn't talked for a long
while after she graduated, she still
considered me to be a close friend and
chose me as one of her bridesmaids,
which was a VERY great honor.
charmaine is one of those friends that
even tho you don't get to talk to her
every day, you know that friendship
will last a lifetime. she always
makes me feel at ease whenever i am in
a rut. she is such a giving person
and i always have fun with her,
whether its to go shopping at the
block, or dinner at cpk or olive
garden, we have such a blast! i
couldn't imagine my life without a
wonderful spirit like char's! thank
you for all your compliments and for
reminding me that it's ok to accept
them. thank you for bringing me into
your life and allowing me to meet your
wonderful friends. and just thanks
for being sweet, charming, sincere,
honest, and fun-loving you! : )
UCR, Char was a freshman and I was a
sophomore. As soon as I met her, I
thought what a hella cool Pinay. She's
from NorCal, we had similar interests
and friends. Us NorCalers need to
stick together, SoCalers can be uptight
and need to chill out sometimes. You
can always have a good time with Char
and she always has a smile on her
face! We go way back and have been
friends ever since. Remember that one
time in Filipino Hist. class in group..
and other days.. we had some good
times! What I like about Char is that
she always keeps it real and is such a
great friend. She'll always be there
when u need her.. thanx for drivin out
hella far for my grad. Sorry for not
makin it to be one of ur bridesmaids, I
know I hella missed out! Maybe we can
hang out more often if I ever move out
to OC. Take care girl, and make them
babies.. I wanna be an auntie.
chickie..it all began so long ago @
UCR's A & I dorms..i knew she was
filipino & was compelled to talk to
her..from there, we became best of
friends..she's from nor-cal, i'm from
nor-cal..she's a pisces, i'm a pisces
(we're only 2 days apart)..her nickname
is char, mine is char..it's
uncanny..but although we have many
similarities, i think we balance each
other out..she reminds me of my
sister..they're more alike than we
are..so when i was down in UCR, away
from my family, i found my family in
charmaine & others..but i am in awe of
her being..w/ as much drama as she has
had in her life, she still manages to
keep a huge grin on her face, the kind
that makes you want to smile
back..which makes her one of the
strongest people i know..i miss you
dearly charmaine!! tell brendan to get
to work on the babies deal!! i think
we're all ready to be aunties/uncles
=) thank you thank you for being such a
wonderful presence in my life..i will
