saved my life. We were rollin in
my '98 Sentra when a cab door slammed
against my window and shattered glass
all over me! It was crazy and weird
but Alison stayed by my side to
comfort and console me. And I've only
known her for 3.5 hours. The Brazilian
Muse is NOW my muse!
She is incredibly intelligent, open-minded,
and adventuresome. She's the best thing
that came out of Delaware, but she's also
the best thing about New York City. I
wouldn't go there half as much if it weren't
for her. She's invaluable to me in so many
ways: she travels to far-off places with me; is
a true foodie who doesn't think it's weird to
map out a vacation according to local
cuisine; is so crazy and unpredictable she
always keeps me entertained; has open my
mind to so many subjects such as all things
Brazilian; always mentally keeps me on my
toes; and most importantly, has been an
incredible friend who has always been there
for me thru it ALL and continues to be my
rock from 1500 miles away. For her, I wish I
would like living in NY, dance more, could
speak more Portuguese, listen to more
Brazilian music, and read more books. I love
you lots, so don't ever change!
something else! I don't know too
many people who love to dance as
much as she does, and she's no
slouch when it comes to cooking a
great dinner either. Not only that, she
can even speak a little Portuguese!
We need more like her, please!!
the jalapeno pepper. The word here is
vibrant. Not to mention kind, friendly,
smart, and my god, the hair! She is
also the only person I have ever met
from Delaware. So from what I know,
100% of Delawarians(?) are really cool.
Oh yeah, and she makes chocolate chip
cookies to die for.
best friends- this chick is AWESOME!
We've been friends for a long time now
and despite the distance between us,
we still manage to see each other a
few times a year. Bojo is an EXCELLENT
cook- her homemade guacamole is well
known amongst our group of friends.
She's into all these weirdo beans and
weirdo spices I've never heard of, but
she slices and dices and throws it all
into a dish and mixes it up and I eat
and love it! Bojo is very intelligent
and well read. In fact, I wonder how
someone as intelligent as she is can
be friends with an idiot like me! But
Bojo is kind and compassionate, too,
so maybe that's why! She can be zany
and serious, and can talk about
politics and the Yanks or Giants! Bojo
is just GREAT!
ROCK! Not only is she well read, spoken
and listened, she salsa dances, cooks great
food, and is basically one of the cooler
people, I've met in New York, and a great
friend too!
