I had the great pleasure of meeting
Hassani this past year when she moved
into the room right next to mine. At
first I was limited to knowing her as
this very involved and always bussy.
Soon, however, she started comming
around and hanging out with Jamie and I.
She soon became an honored guest on that
purple carpet of ours. Talking to her is
always a pleasure for it causes you to
think very carefully of every word you
utter because if you say anything that
is out of line she will have no problem
telling about it. And it is that spark
about her that I am sure will take her
far. She has already begun at Smith what
she is sure to continue next semester in
our nations capital... and time will
only tell where she will end up but one
thing is for sure: Hassani is going
places... best of luck to you Hassani.

Hassani is the best person in the

always makes me laugh. We are going

Ndegeocello...literally. In that moment, as in so
many others, all I could think was, "What the
fuck. Only Hassani." It's a brilliant, beautiful
