Im pretty easy-going for the most part. I get riled easily sometimes about politics especially these past few years but otherwise theres not generally a lot of drama with me. I have a quick and easy smile and choose people of similar ilk to hang around with. The people I like most are those who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves -- and those who encourage the people they love to laugh when things seem darkest. I enjoy hearing other people's thoughts on religion, history, philosophy, politics, that brilliant thing John Stewart just said, and life in general. I love meeting new people who like to think and laugh about life. The laughing part is very important.

I read about politics a lot, and try to stay active as a letter writer and general thorn in the side of our senators and gw. I despise the politics of hate that I see around us these days and the flagrant dishonesty and corruption. But, I'm excited to see a new grassroots opposition to it growing stronger every moment and now finally spilling into the mainstream. I think thats very cool.

I love to play airhockey and pool -- I'm a great trash-talker but I kinda suck so I've gotta talk it quickly before I start losing too badly. I have a secret fascination with Ninjas and love Bruce Lee and early Jackie Chan movies. Cheesy horror flicks are great -- even greater are the very rare scary ones. I actually just love movies in general, and one of my favorite evenings is to spend a night at alamo drafthouse with a pitcher of Bass. I try to get out to see live music whenever I can -- though not nearly often enough.

Since right now I have some of the best friends I've had in my entire life, I think meeting friends of theirs (and their friends) would be pretty cool.
