jah makes birthday cards, organizes
tea get-togethers, comes to my choir
concerts, and always knows what's
going on with everyone because she
cares. what a friend to have!
uh yeah, nice picture there...this girl
is straight up the smartest person in
the whole world...once she finishes her
MBA from Harvard, she is going to get
her doctorate in women's studies with a
minor in B3 ism...
Shenk = best person to work with and is
soon to be Mrs. Murray Herman
4 ever.
damn! karen must be deleting all the
short testimonials, 'cause all the ones
that she has are novels! i guess
that's what it takes to describe this
vixen! everyone else has covered how
she's basically the sh*t, but nobody's
addressed her anorexia! sure, everyone
thot she was just lean as a bean in
high school, but i saw right thru
that...good thing she's getting married
to that man's man, Dave! it might take
a good pregnancy to put some meat on
her! please excuse the crude jokes;
Charles Shaw is typing every other word
for me (or maybe i'm a jerk). karen's
gonna hate me, and dave's gonna grab my
gonads. gosh...this testimonials is
really spiraling downwards. End
transmission.
Karen is my dearest friend. I regard
her with the utmost respect because no
matter how far apart we are, we're
still so close. It doesn't matter how
long we've been apart, I know I can
always go to her for advice or just to
have a good chat. She's always helping
me in some way and always so
supportive. My life would have been
hell if I didn't have Karen at Cal. I
think I'm in love with you Karen!!!
Why? Because I can do the grossest
things in front of you and be totally
comfortable. Karen remember what
happened in the dorms? (ha ha...keep
it a secret)......One last thing. I'm
so glad you guys are FREAKIN FINALLY
getting married after like a thousand
decades.....a thousand decades, a
thousand decades!!!! =) I give you
guys the best wishes and you can end
your fairy tale story with "they lived
happily ever after"....
karen!! she's my big sis from Cal...i
wouldn't have survived apath without
her (too much drama!). I had so much
fun with karen, watching "Dawson's
Creek" in her dorm room, and gazing
wistfully at all her pics with Dave
(you guys are the cutest couple!
Congrats on your engagement!!),
gossiping about my latest crush and
getting wise advice, sampling her
wonderful cooking at her apt, meeting
up with her at Valley Fair, visiting
her at her workplace, keeping in touch
no matter what! thanks karen for always
being there! i miss you lots!
hopefully, i'll see you soon :P
Yes, Karen is very sweet....but she has
some problems. she sits next to me at
work...and whew...it's such a pleasure
when she finally decides to shower!
Thanks karen! it's so much fun at
work. karen shows me all kinds of
tricks she has learned with her blue
pillow/bean-bag/swingy-thing. it's
great fun! and we also spend hours
discussing her "mental issues" and
my "biatchiness"!!!! enough about
fun...karen is also very
thoughtful...she's always giving me
code blues!! thanks karen...you're the
best!!! ;o)
i spent the summer after freshman year
of high school in japan as an exchange
student. after 15 hours of traveling, i
remember arriving in yokohama fatigued
and totally homesick. my host mom
handed me a thick envelope when i got
in the door--it was mail from karen. i
locked myself in the bathroom, read her
letter and cried. it was not only her
stories of home that made me weep, but
her thoughtfulness in sending a letter
that would precede even my arrival.
again, her friendship saved me; she had
made my loneliness vanish.
that's just one of many lessons that
karen has taught me (ever since that
first one back in 1989, which was that
she could outspell anyone)--home isn't
a place...it's the people you love
most.
karen is the sweetest most genuine girl
i know! she's like a second mom to us
and we can always count on her. now if
only dave hadn't stolen her away from
me.... >_< luv ya girl. ;)
As the significant other and soon-to-be
husband in Karen's life, I must say
that the relationship has definitely
benefited me the most.
With her undying love supporting me, I
am able to accomplish more than I would
have. Thats the thing... Always caring
and supporting other people, she brings
joy into other people's lives, even if
it sacrifices her own most of the time.
Always putting people above herself,
she gives, gives, and gives, but never
expects to receive anything in return.
Her friendship and love has no bounds
and for that, I am truly the luckiest
man in the world.
Without a care in the world for
material things, all she simply wants
is to love and be loved in return. I
just hope mine is enough for someone as
special and as gifted as my Jah-Poos.
She is a gift from God and my own
personal savior.
Ling, we can have shared custody where
I can loan her out to you on the
weekends. :P
Karen's the most determined person I
know. She sets her sight on a goal and
goes for it full out. (That's why her
wanting to get A's in college worked
out great...I just copied off her!)
But, she's also intelligent enough to
reassess and rethink. Karen's also the
most thoughtful person I know. One
day, out of nowhere she gave me a
journal and a book to cheer me up. She
knew I was under a lot of stress and
despair. This woman knows what to do
to brighten someone else's day. It's
never about Karen, it's always about
those she cares about. And that's why
I am so BLESSED to be one of Karen's
friends.
