I know. Because I am special, I got to meet the
parents. They fed me hot dogs, interrogated
me about my life, and then we played
Pictionary. Ever seen Twilight Zone: The
Movie? Where the kid takes the lady home to
meet his parents and the sister didn't have a
mouth? It was almost as surreal as that. The
hot dogs were good, though.
much. but specifically, today, daniel
is the sickest person i know. is this
a plus or a minus...? we'll say
plus. the sinners are much more fun...
thought to myself, "What's next?" Is he
going to threaten to take off his shirt
and scream, "That's right, I'M THE
FOOOOOOL." It was truly a moment
Sarah, Elysabeth, Kel, and I will never
forget (Better G.D.?) I don't feel like
such a drunk anymore, well, kinda.
neither of us has slept since. because
of his 'ultra-mega-fever' as i like to
call it, i have had this perpetual
waking dream of a whale the size of a
beach and a beach the size of a sky. my
favorite memory of daniel is
'ultra-mega-fever' splayed out on a
beach saying, "oh yeah, michelle- it's
definitely time for my 2-o'clock
medicine..." is it a waking dream or
was it real? the world may never know.
however- we'll always have rio.
