People against poverty is a grassroots action and advocacy organization that aims to inspire and empower youth to take action against extreme poverty in the developing world.
The (People's) Manifesto:
Right now people all around the world people are dying because they are to poor to live. You know it's wrong and you know that in our world of plenty we all should be doing more. Poverty is not inevitable and As Canadian youth , our generation has tremendous power that can change the course of life and history on this planet. We have the power to be heard and take action, and that's what People against Poverty is about: making noise while making a difference. People against Poverty aims to inspire and empower (YOU), Canadian youth to make noise and to take action against extreme poverty. Because you can and because it's easy.
