guys I know. He has strong opinions
that are well-thought-out, and he's
not afraid to tell you about them, and
he'll also listen to yours. He is also
one of the kindest people I know. Did
I mention that he's really smart? He's
really smart. And the most literate
and literary programmer I know.
know robert, both in a working
environment and as an individual.
though he was essentially my "director"
for a time, he never treated me like an
underling, and always gave my
suggestions equal consideration. not
only that, but his sense of humor always
livened up the days...and he never once
criticized the collection of dozens of
juice and stewart's soda bottles that
accumulated on my desk. (what a
humanitarian!) i haven't had a
go-into-the-office kind of job in what
seems like forever now, and hopefully i
never will -- knock on wood! -- but if i
ever do, i hope i'm working for someone
who is nearly as engaging as this guy.
one another, despite the fact that we
live right around the way from one
another. That being said, Robert and I
have travelled similar paths in our
lives and, in fact, once figured out
that we were at the same rave together
in Colorado five years before we met
each other in Atlanta!
Robert's excellent site Bump.net
