About Me:
I've lived in California for ten years but have gotten
tired of it. So I was planning
on moving to New York this summer to go to
school at columbia's sipa to study emerging markets
economics and business so that I can promote freedom and
free markets in formerly communist central and eastern
europe (and maybe iraq and iran if the state department
doesn't screw things up over there). Unfortunately the
columbia people decided that since I don't have an
undergrad degree I can't go to grad school. So I am stuck
here for another two years until I finish my degree at
Cal. In the past I was very involved with the electronic
music scene -- I produced a few incredible parties under
these Super post-panamax ship-to-shore gantry cranes, but
that scene has seemed a bit shallow lately... I still
enjoy the music, of course. I'm spending my summer
landscaping my backyard, building a few patios, a deck, a
lawn area, irrigating it, and installing lighting.
Hopefully I'll have a backyard that allows for outdoor
entertaining before the weather turns rainy again.

Who I Want to Meet:
I'm looking to meet intelligent, relaxed, fun, ambitious,
twisted, and creative people. Romantically-wise I am
looking to meet women who are mature, stable and like
travel, eating, camping, kids, quiet, noise, mountains,
cities, and deserts.

new things, and his talent for
bringing folks together. If you can tell
a man by his friends, you will be
impressed, because Sameer is
loved by sweetest, the smartest, and
the most loyal of rascals. His parties
are lovely and his projects make the
world better. Hail Sameer!
and refreshingly honest. He's one of a
rare breed: the non-flakes.
Not one to follow the herd, he's
capable of leading it.
was rich and famous. (I never thought I
would say that about anyone!) My most
vivid memory of him was when he working
on porting the PGP encryption software
so that it would work on an Apple IIGS.
(No, that's not a Macintosh). I even
loaned him a large memory-expansion card
to help him in his quest. (4 MB -
hahaha!)
Then I watched from afar as he started
C2. And now, he is a guru to millions!
;)
Way to go, Sameer!
drove up to the site of Cranium, my
first party, ever, and he popped his
entire upper body + hard hat and that
cloud of hair through the window of my
car to give me a hug and say "I'm so
glad you're here!" even though I'm
pretty sure he had no idea who I was. :)
His warmth and enthusiasm and genuine
goodness will rub off on you and stay
with you for an entire night.
love. and i like throwing parties with
him!
S. is one of those top ten in a lifetime
people that you meet. Of all the
individual egos in the world, I
consider a few to be emobdied of
such magnetism and actual capacity
to create. A few , who understand
what they do, and the significance of
each action. Sameer is such a
person.
Some times holding such a weight of
awareness can tear a persons
personality from their humanity.
Sameer is the synthesis, a unifier. I
am always impressed at the psychic
glue this guy can achieve from such
simples things as friends, music, the
barren desert, traintracks or dj's. He
puts his spirit into everything makes
each experience into an adventure
and good time. If you ever hear of a
party he is throwing, be there, they
are beyond any other in terms of
connecticivty and synergy and
groove.
Sun hardware and a bank of modems. I
didn't think it was that serious, but
then I saw his picture on the cover of
Forbes. Who knows what this guy is
going to do next!
