      • Jonathan is my friend. I owe him a
        very nice dinner.

      • Jonathan has definitely blossomed from
his high school days. It's one of
those rare joys to be acquainted with
a very smart guy who I like who comes
from the same hood. And he's a
        hipster, too? Sweet...

      • Yea, Jonathan's a brainiac. He's sexy
as all get out. He's surrounded by
        supermodels and neurosurgeons
whenever I see him. But I'll tell you a
secret: he's my favorite, bar none,
party escort ever. And you'll have an
even better time the next morning
watching 70's shows on the Game
Show Network in his company. That
tinkling laugh of his just gets me.

      • Jonathan's cute. Everyone else has
covered the smart thing already. So
let me be the shallow one and say
        this:
        Jonathan is hott hott hott,
        cool as a spring breeze,
        often right up front,
but willing to play the tease.
        He's
        ice cream in July,
        whisky in February,
        clouds up in the sky,
        whipped cream with a cherry.

        So there.

        -Yours,
        Ms. Woodhull

      • How does one actually write anything
worthy of Jonathan? He is one of the
wittiest people I know. He is actually
one of the few people who knows the
real *me* and all the private hell that
        entails.

Actually, he is probably one of the few
people who I could call a true friend,
even though I haven't seen him in
        forever.

      • I find something incredibly sexy about
        overintelligence.

Combine that with the ability to
explain things in a manner which is
patient and accessable, and that's a
recipe for "trouble" served up on a
        silver platter. With garnish.

society of cast and rank, since one is
assigned a place irrevocably, and so
        class mobility is non-existent...The
modern sign dreams of the signs of the
past and would well appreciate finding
again, in its reference to the real, an
obligation: but what it finds again is
only a reason: this referential reason,
this real, this "natural" off which it
is going to live." -The Orders of
        Simulacra
"The only way to atone for being
        occasionally a little over-dressed is
        by being always absolutely over-
        educated." -Phrases and Philosophies
        for theUse of the Young
        Jonathan's hyperreal romantic-retro
        spectrographic signature is so unique
that it is entirely recognizable even
when sighted wholly unexpectedly in a
foreign land from across a busy street,
through a trolley car and above a sea
of adolescent heads. And that after a
        two year separation.

      • jonathan. is that his name? damn. i
thought it was miniver. anyway he's one
of the few people who makes me think
about growing my hair back, and one of
the very few people i wouldn't mind
trading lives with, just because i
would enjoy so thoroughly putting his
face and body into the kinds of
        situations i often find myself. i can't
imagine him screaming at anyone for any
reason, (which is why the life swap
would be fun). he is sophisticated
enough to be sophisticated to a fault,
but he's not. aside from that, we have
almost identical tastes but only when
i'm sober. i also have a feeling that
he gets on with the kind of sensitive,
intelligent chicks that i scare away by
        calling chicks.

      • Jonathan is one of my favorite people of all
time. He is the smartest person I know, and
thus holds high rank in my pantheon of
friends. If you can't have fun talking and
carousing with Jonathan, you just can't have
fun and should be exiled to some
godforsaken suburb. His primary flaw is
stubborn resistance to call, visit, or move to
New York, which is as we both know, his
proper place in the universe. Adventures
abound with him in your company. For best
results mix with equal parts Alysse.

point he said, "Now that the
        conversation has turned wholly
inappropriate, I may as well bring this
up," and then launched into something
that will not be discussed here. But I
love a man who can escalate
        inappropriateness. It's a lost art.
