About Me:
Ken'ichi Matsuyama (松山 ケンイチ, Matsuyama Ken’ichi?, born Ken'ichi Matsuyama (松山 研一), 5 March 1985 in Mutsu, Aomori Prefecture) is a Japanese actor.
He is known for his affinity for strange character roles. He is best known for playing L in the 2006 film Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name and L: Change the World in 2008, as well as voicing Gelus in the Death Note anime adaptation. He has recently performed in the dual role of Soichi Negishi/Johannes Krauser II in the film adaptation of Detroit Metal City, and will be starring in Kamui Gaiden (September 2009 in Japan).

[J-Ent. News] Tegoshi Yuya, Horikita Maki and Kenichi Matsuyama starring in a Hollywood Film with Emma Roberts
Tegoshi Yuya from the Japanese Boy Band ‘NEWS’, has been chosen to star in a film starring Hollywood Star Emma Roberts aswell as japanese actress Horikita Maki (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e)and Kenichi Matsuyama who played the mysterious “L” in Death Note. The film will either be called “Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac” based on the book with the same name by Gabrelle Zevin or “Nakushita Kioku” which is the japanese title. The film will be directed my a Hollywood director called Hans Canosa.
