      • About Me:

At the dawn of the new Millennium, some style and fashion
experts announced that the Age of Clans was past and
passe. True, from Tokyo to New York via Delhi, people do
like more or less the same things at the same time, but
this has not put an end to clans. They are just more open
today. They network, surf and switch styles to define
their attitudes. Result: today, rappers sport the logos
of firms that used to symbolize middle-class taste, fans
of electro-pop rediscover the sort of ultra-egghead music
associated with Pierre Henry in the 70s, jet-set chicks
wear the gear of provocative bimbos, and guys who like
girls look more or less the same as guys who like guys.
It's all a great laugh. Thanks to the web, the new
Millennium generation has invented the multi-clan. In the
bars of the Marais or in the cafes of New York's Meat
Market, just as in London's Westbourne Grove or
on smart terraces south of Logan Circle in Washington,
D.C., young women from good families hang out with homo-
hipsters who have dropped in to chat and catch up.
Intellectuals, slumming it a bit, dance the night away
with logo-encrusted trendies in hot basements; happy
couples frolic through modern furniture showrooms while
middle-class bohemians battle for a vintage tennis shirt
in a thrift shop......And they all gather in the evening
round a glass of Veuve Clicquot.

      • Darling, what would Sunday mornings
(if you can call 1:30pm morning...) be
without you and the juice of a freshly
squeezed orange? Well, it wouldn't be
        Brunch a la Heather House....

pronounce your name dear. I always said
"Voov Clee-Ko" Saul insisted it was "Vyoov
Click-qwatt" Saul was a wonderful man, but
not very cultured. I used to have to DRAG
HIM TO SEE CATS!!! Can you believe that.
And he worked around the corner for
goodniss sakes. You are rather tasty, I have
seen you at many bar mitzvahs and
        weddings tataluh. SCRUMPTIOUS!!!
