About Me:
The other day I witnessed a rainbow arc from Lucky Donuts to the Mormon Temple, in Oakland, the city of my birth. I think that Gertrude Stein's "There's no there there" quote fits the scene perfectly and is anything but a rebuke. My friend Austin, a typical scattered manhattan artist, has been trying to implant the meaning of 'cool' into the shell of the word 'patio', as a movement back to the Sunset Magazine days of all life's contentment wrapped into a set of portable furniture sitting on a sun-speckled concrete pad, accompanied by lemonade and a shish kebob. I live in that place.

the way) i'm glad that he's moving back
to the west coast. The east coast is
whack man! Hope to see you soon.
fantasy....he pretended to be the cook
from queer eye, made me lasagna &
asparagus, and then fucked the shit
of me...we'll always have radio
um, when was it, kindergarten? I'll
never forget how you brought me flowers
when I was 5... oh wait, I did forget,
but you told me all about it! So much
history... can you believe our moms'
walking group?? It's been fun getting
to know you all over again... bonding
over beers at the White Ho... how did
we always end up there?? The trips to
the Cafe and of course the ever classy
Round Up. Our scathing reproaches of
moronic co-workers... ah, those were
the days. You definitely made work
much more tolerable along with a
certain other goofball, Mishball. You
done good son. Scotty has a wry sense
of humor that will make your sides
split. Watch out for this one, he
takes no prisoners.
