About Me:
ive swallowed a bee, had brain surgery, and contracted both mono and the chicken pocks twice. im silly, sarcastic, passionate, spontaneous and stubborn as hell. i hate capitalism. i love laughing. i can't spell.
i spend my life organizing workers to build a movement that can eventually create a new world, where if you want to paint, you can paint, and don't have to kill yourself working at blockbuster, starbucks and walmart 80 hours a week to do so.
after the revolution (which might or might not happen before all living creatures on earth are annihilated; but certainly after my remains have long decomposed), i want to either: a) live in a small cabin in the woods in vermont, bake apple pies, garden, hike, swim and write poetry; or b) live in montreal (or buenos aires or paris) and eat, drink, dance, write, look at art and be merry.
meanwhile, i keep on fighting and charish the moments when i'm not.
i try to stay sane. tequila helps.

she's a kick ass friend of mine.
she'll kick your ass whenever you her to.
kc is my sunshine!
Katharine is great. But my favorite is
our shared love for Regulation Theory. I
mean, how many other hip 20-
somethings have embraced this hyper-
structural, political economic paradigm
with as much zeal as we have? The rest
of you will likely jump on the bandwagon
eventually (when you tire of culture, I
imagine) but we'll always know that we
were first. Also, unlike me, Katharine
never sold out and went to grad school.
Finally, it is worth noting that Katharine,
along with James and I, is one of the
original inventors of No Holds Barred
Scrabble - awnaw.
many ways. Her political commitment is
deeper than that of anyone I've ever
known, she is strong and fun and
beautiful and is good at doing many,
many things. Your life will be better once
you've known her!
It's been, wow...a while.
goddamn friendster bandwagon but i knew
she knew it was a terrible idea. Who could
blame her after years of locking herself in
her bathroom whenever a strange car would
roll down her street, prank call her, and
send her into shivers thinking it was some
bulletin board freaky deaky with long hair
and bad teeth coming to stalk her? Yes,
Katharine and I, for sure, could go one for
one on bad decisions made growing up in
the midwest. I love her for that alone.
that we're making Homeland Security's
job easier by creating neat little
dossiers and friendship network
schematics VOLUNTARILY. So I am
afraid it's a bit of a betrayal for me
to admit the level of trust and
confidence I have in Katharine as a
revolutionary and a communist. But
it's not just her wise and humane
approach to politics that makes me
miss her company. It's her deeply
felt joy at living that makes me long
for the society of Katarine.
we used to sit on our stoop and make
fun of trotskyists and throw High Life
cans at the wall. Look how much we've
grown up- now we are into hard liquor.
Now she is an organizer. That means
she can convince anyone to do
anything! Watch out! She convinced me
to join this Friendster bullshit.
