About Me:
I'm originally from Jeffersonville but now live in New Albany. I bought a house (2 bed room, 2.5 baths and a lot of closets) a few years back and am enjoying the experiences of being a home owner (no downstairs neighbors to wake me up). I've gotten a lot better at fixing things around the house, luckily the house is s not that so the up keep is easy.
My hobbies are pretty varied. I'm a big movie buff. My favorite directors are Kevin Smith, Sam Raimi, James Cameron, George Romero and David Fincher. Army of Darkness, Fight Club and Aliens are some my favorites movies, but the list is to large to name every one. The Monty Python films are pretty good to. I'm game for anything from comedy to horror. At last count I have somewhere over 120 DVDs. Some anime (such as Cowboy Bebop) is also pretty good, but no giant fighting robots please.
Computers jump to mind as another one of my hobbies, I'm lucky that one of my interests is also my career (it helps to enjoy what you do). I'm working on getting into the computer security field and have started a website at http://www.irongeek.com to help in that endeavor.
I enjoy philosophy and am currently taking classes on the subject at IUS. My knowledge is more of a survey of the field that and in depth knowledge of individual philosophers. The meaning of the omniscience of God in relation to freewill is one of my largest philosophical interests along with epistemology and ethics.
I like history but wish I knew more than I do. Recently I've been doing a lot of reading on first century history.
Games are another big interest of mine. I play RPGs, FPS video games and board games. Axis and Allies, Risk, Quake, Hunter and Trivial Pursuit are some of my favorites.
I work out at the IUS gym (cardiovascular and weight training) and try to stay fit. I seem to be in good health, but sometimes lament the fact that I can look more like a line backer that a body builder. I watch my diet but my next hobby has a tendency to come into conflict with my waist line.
I love to cook and people generally seem to like what I serve (or at least pretend to :>). Some of my favorite things to cook are cheesecake (you can't go wrong with fat and sugar), derby pie and Spanish rice. I also get requests for my lasagna from time to time.
I like all sorts of music, pretty much anything but rap (and even a few rap "songs are ok). Most of my collection is MP3s, Weird Al is the only person's whose albums I still bother to buy.
I like to read a lot. My favorite writers are Michael Crichton, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, John Stekly and Peter David. Unfortunately I don't get as much time to read novels as I use to, most of the time I have my nose stuck in a tech manual. Luckily I work in a library.
I'm a graduate of IUS (Computer Science) and am thinking of going for my masters at when they offer it at IUS. I work for the IUS library as a local support provider. I guess that's enough information about me for now, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Who I Want to Meet:
I'm looking for a lady with whom I can spend time and share common interests. I want to meet a lady who enjoys books, plays, movies, dinning out, laughing and having a good time with friends. I would like to meet someone who cares about more than Aberzombie and Lich and mere appearances. My ideal match would be intelligent, honest, sweet, kind, happy and upbeat. I'm also looking for a lady with compatible interests to mine. Rudeness and lack of compassion for others are my biggest turnoffs.

intelligent, funny and easy-going.
Adrian is hard to argue with on certain
things because he usually knows his
facts very well. He has his head on
straight and a bright future ahead of
him. I usually hang out at his house
often with him and his roomates, James
and Nick.
