Andy is delicious and delovely. He makes my hearth skip a beat when I see him across a crowded room. When we get together, I feel like a giddy 13 year old girl again. Minus the awkward, slightly socially outcast, always checking for leaks parts of being a 13 year old girl. I met Andy the same night I met Rita Moreno, and I dropped her like a hot rock long ago. So what does that tell you?

Andy would adopt a child from Guatemala as well as tell somebody to fart in your face. Andy would watch Ellen eating chinese take-out as well as take off his shirt and dance in an all night discoteque.
Alabran is the perfect combination of attentive, silly, content, excited, commited, light-hearted, intense, joyful, appreciative, and hilarious. I know Alalbran would appreciate me quiefing just as much as a heart to heart. To sum it all up, he's the guy you wish you were more like.

Andy has a glint in his eye that is at once innocent, all-knowing, and dangerous as hell. It could be that he is a very perceptive, mighty good judge of character... Or maybe he just knows more than most of us. Either way--I am not surprised. He's one of those people you want to keep in your life for your entire life --funny, generous as hell, deeply committed, always growing.... He is an uncommon talent and an even more uncommon friend. More people should be like him. Period.
