I've been described by my friends as being "geek smooth"
and have entertained the idea of getting that tattooed
across my stomach gangsta style, but alas I will not,
because I'm not that cool. I listen to waaay too much
music, I cuss a lot and if you're lucky, I might be your
friend. I'm that guy everyone recognizes from "the scene"
but no one really knows. most people think I'm an elitist
or a scenester, because I don't talk to people, but the
truth is, I'm just sorta shy. so if you see me at a show,
say hi and I'll most likely carry on a Rev. Norb like
conversation with you about anything from Old Style
to the impact "Love Supreme" by John Coltrane made on
popular music. Yup. I like to laugh at old people when
they fall over. that's the truth. I'm in a couple bands.
the first being Death Cab for Chris Siuty and the other
isn't named yet, but it will own. I used to be in a
shoegaze band that could have gone places if we weren't all
lazy. I was in a hardcore band that opened for the Traitors
once. that was about it. our 15 minutes. yup.
I quote random punk rock songs liberally and with little
concern as to whether or not other people know what I'm
talking about. I have an interesting way of remembering
conversations. I also have an over load of trival
knowledge, as well as useful knowledge. I know a lot about
the Haymarket Riot (the anarchist uprising that was sparked
by the desire for an eight hour work day, not the band). I
have a degree in sound engineering and after three years of
looking, I finally have a job where I'm using my wealth of
mic knowledge. I'm pretty easy to get along with, if you
can see past
all the cussing and trivial knowledge. mesh baseball hats

trucker hats. word. oh oh! and and I'd like to meet the
guy who played Milton in Office Space. that would be
pretty damn cool.
