Favorite TV Shows:
I have a new addiction: Old episodes of The West Wing--it's something about the writing. The characters could blather on endlessly about nothing much, and I could still enjoy the show simply for it's dialogue. Crazy.

About Me:
Finished my degree in Chemical Engineering and English Lit. Ran away to Chicago with nothing but a suitcaseful of clothes and worked in a gay piano bar. I finally started using my degree in a pharmaceutical company as an analytical chemist, but found that I hate corporate culture (and thoughtless lab work)--and all the assholes who work for pharmaceutical companies. Now I'm working part-time for a software company, and enjoying my freedom. I never really ran before in my life, but I completed the Chicago Marathon last October--that was thrilling.

Parton in his list of favorite music.
Unless, of course, he considers Dolly
to be 'divine song' and therefore above
the pedestrian category 'Music.' I am
hoping this is the case. Jeffrey
usually can be counted on to manifest
exactly what I am thinking about him.
Right now, for instance, he is smiling
as he reads this. And now, wishing he
had bought that box of chillable red
wine at the store. And now, growing
anxious as he remembers his
schoolwork. And now, finding it hard
to believe that the end is near, but j,
we've only just begun.
knows that "Different Drum" is by the
Stone Poneys featuring Linda Ronstadt,
which makes his inebriated debauchery
acceptable.
