sense, but there is more to her than
quietness and depth and good duds.
jenny carries on the futile pursuit of
cleaning the cat hair from the
apartment when I visit in a doomed
attempt to make the apartment more
mary-friendly (good news, jenny, I
finally got on the allegra train...I
look forward to spending non-drowsy,
allergy free time with you over the
holidays).
it's true that jenny is sometimes the
stern disciplinarian when we hang out,
but I can promise that this has
protected more fun than it has harmed,
historically. for example, jenny is
the one who refuses to bow to peer
pressure and rent the ridiculous movie
that kate is jumping up and down with

It was a brief time, in the scheme of
things, but I will never forget the
horror of trying to pick movies with
kate before jenny arrived.
it's also important to know that jenny
has an interesting past. and for some
reason I have vivid images of talking
with jenny on the subway about family,
psychology, weirdness, and so on.
jenny is good people. she doesn't
even get too mad, when I try to incite
mayhem. thanks jenny!

your ears open around her, because she
is very smart and has a lot to say.
