About Me:
The Alyansang Kabataan Demokratikong Mag-aaral (AKADEME) is a student political party composed of individual of P.S.B.A.-Q.C who firmly believes in democracy guided by the principles of authentic humanism, advancing student unionism it protect students rights and to work for the advancement and promotion of students welfare. Founded for the purpose of transforming the educational system into a responsive, popular and liberating one, to develop and participate in the task of the national liberation and to work the advancement of social justice.
NATURE AND ORIENTATION
1. The AKADEME is progressive because it advances students rights through concrete actions towards peaceful and meaningful change.
2. The AKADEME is alternative because it truly stands for the interests of all students and relentlessly struggles to liberate education.
3. The AKADEME is pro-students because it is seeking to empower the studentry towards the promotion and protection of their rights, interests and welfare.
4. The AKADEME is authentically humanist because it recognizes the value and capacity of people as human beings and as social beings, and it believes in the equality of all individuals, regardless of their economic stature, religious belief, ethnic origin, gender and sexual preferences.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To advance and promote solidarity among students.
2. To advance and promote students rights which entails the advocacy of campus democracy and effective participation of students in the policy and decision making processes of P.S.B.A.-Q.C..
3. To advance and promote students welfare by working for the upgrading of school facilities and education standards, a just tuition fee structure and a more open and relevant curriculum.
4. To works toward the attainment of a nationalist, scientific, authentically humanist and popular system of education.
