Hugh because he has luscious lips that
are poutier than mine. Then I
realized when it comes to eccentricity
I have him beat and since then I have
shelved my insecurities and pursued a
beautiful friendship with Hugh.
the fuzzy fuzz of manhood, Hugh-san and
I used to chug our boy-sized bicycles
with our newly minted man-sized legs to
a little known bay in Little Neck. You
see, we used to be neighbors and as
you'll soon read, once very good
sentimental-like friends. We would
quietly heave our way up the hills and
coast down the pothole ridden roads
mouths gaping, buttocks stinging until
we reached the water's edge. Once at
the end of our ride, without words which
would mar the solemnity of this at once
mannish and also kind of soft and mushy
event, we'd watch as the tide lapped
away what was left of the summer light
and go back home to ride another day.
