(www.henryrichardson.com) I make sculpture. Love it!!! My studio is in Spanish Harlem and I live on the park on the West side, so I get a 30 minute walk through the park each way every day. I never wanted to move to the city, but my lovely wife Sarah finally got me here after the wedding, and now I love being here.

I grew up in Peru where my father, a doctor, was working for Project Hope and Washington, DC. I went to a small Quaker boarding school in West Branch, IA before attending Haverford. I received a degree in Geology although my passion has always been art. After college I went to capitol hill armed with an LBJ paid intership, then stayed for ten years in DC developing my art and working at a number of jobs to survive. Since 1995 I have been a full-time sculptor. I love my work, my friends and family.

Sarah loves to dance. It would be great to meet some people who like to go out in NY on the weekends.
