I read books. I write poetry. I teach counting machines to
jump when I tell them. I take life too seriously on
weekdays. Not seriously enough on weekends. Despite
vehement protestations to the contrary, a part of me
believes in karmic influences or destiny. So, I try to do
whats right. My family is the most important thing in life
period. I enjoy materialistic things. Mostly because I know
I can (and have) done fine without them. I've earned
everything I have (with a little help from friends and
family). I make aquiantances easily, friends not so easily.
I will join you in laughing at myself. I'll move bodies for
my best friends. In case anyone is wondering, the Kitty and
Tiger pics are stolen. The Puppy is mine. His name is Bruno.
Having grown up on a tropical Island, I am less inclined to
see them as my paradise. I'll take the Green hills of
Ireland with a pint of beer over golden sands and
pina-coladas. The grass is always greener on the beer side.

My kind of people.
Those who appreciate the irony of living.
Those who can sit at a backyard barbeque and discuss the
subtelties of Hume or the merits of Mid-Engined RWD cars.
People who are astounded and fascinated by human history and
culture. Who are not so attached to the earth that they cant
suspend their disbelief for 2 hours to watch a sci-fi flick.
People that enjoy alcohol in its many glorious forms and can
keep it down till we get to the IHop (Smirnoff Ice (ugh!)
says "Please Drink Responsibly). Children of the night,
who rarely feel alive before 10 PM. Who think going home at
7 AM in the morning is pretty normal for weekends.
I am drawn to people who are not afraid to wander outside
their cultural, financial, social, racial safety zones.
