Lately, I'm reading random books in the sociology section of my local bookstore: Gig, Fat, collections of essays, especially by angry people. . John Irving. Tom Robbins. John Updike. Chuck Palahniuk.Clive Barker is a guilty pleasure. I not-so-secretly love Christopher Pike teen novels. I'm addicted to Cary Tennis's "Since You Asked" column on Salon.com.

Favorite Movies:
7 UP series. Head On. The Five Obstructions - I don't know if this is a favorite, but it really affected me. Magnolia, Delicatessen, Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski, Natural Born Killers, Fight Club, Princess Bride, Kieslowski's Trois Couleurs Trilogy (Red, Blue & White) - although I think I liked the idea of the trilogy better than the movies themselves.
