his ass off (packing trucks, unpacking
trucks, assembling and disassembling
domes and other shade structures,
pounding rebar, and on and on) and still
party like he's the guy who invented
partying? Only Alan, my hero. How does
he do it?
ridiculous (yes, ridiculous Alan! You
are not always rational - pretty girls
are your Kryptonite man!).
Whether jumping out of an airplane,
partying in the desert, or talking
shit 'til five in the morning on a work-
night, Alan is The guy to have around.
He does nice things for people when
they aren't paying attention (and down-
plays the fact when he gets caught).
He's even adopted a family from
Thailand and put their kids through
college! (Ok, they're Chinese, and
they run Salad King, but other than
that it's true!)
see...well...I live in a building
named after you! No seriously, Alan is
truly one of the best! He has a heart
of gold, although he tries really hard
to hide it. He's an amazing friend,
he's been there for me so many times
giving me advice or just listening. I
can't say enough good things about
him. So, let me just say, I am so
happy to have him as my friend!
giving me advice on my hair and
clothes with a smile and a laugh. If
it wasn't for him, it would still look
like my mom dresses me and cuts my
hair! He gave me my nicknames "Chunk"
and "Hopeless". He jokes a lot, but
his jokes are NOT at my expense
because otherwise they wouldn't be
funny, but they are. He has no
imaginary friends.
Alan is super-fun-tastik... I mean,
he's got it together, with the legal
expertise, the bboying, computer
skillz, fun fun fun and so on and on...
I know who to ask next time I need some
legal modification, or help with my
breakin' non-skillz... Alan's wicked!
