enough to have a duck. Also, I was
unfamiliar with Indian customs. She lived
this lie for three years and her guilt was
her punishment. In time I forgave her. It
turns out she's not even Indian!! I became
friends with Hersha because she would do
my Physics homework for me but I stayed
friends with Hersha because she would do
anything for a friend. If you don't hear
from Hersha for a while, it does not mean
she has forgotten about you.

lately i found out she drinks.... it
was very interesting. Too bad our big
plans to go out and get hammed were
killed, ah well, next time hersh. Best
of luck on that job. No worries,
you're gonna kill it
ways, ready smile, and hipster
clothing, Hersha may be a little
intimidating. That's why I didn't talk
to her and only stared at her quietly
from across the route 6 bus in high
school. When she looked in my
direction, I'd quickly cast my eyes
down and pretend that I was looking at
the Canadian flag on her bag. The next
year she got a locker near mine and
every time we were at our lockers at
the same time, my muscles would tense
up and I would unintentionally hold my
breath, and consequently forget my
locker combination due to the lack of
oxygen. Thankfully we somehow became
close friends and laughed and cried and
danced and sang and captured flags
together. It's been almost 10 years
and we're still doing all of that,
except capturing flags has been
replaced with drinking irresponsibly.
So this is a message to you, yes YOU,
the lonely-faced dude in the office
carrel across from Hersha. You see,
despite her radiant smile and social
grace, she's also very NICE! So stop
being afraid! Stop holding your
breath, look straight into her eyes,
and say, "meet me at the
watercooler."
