About Me:
Teaching is fun, overall. My students say the craziest, sweetest, rudest, most obnoxious things I've ever heard, constantly. Although in general it is more polite and sweet than rude and obnoxious. My town has grown on me immensely, and having a car allows me to explore lots of nearby Kyushu, which is a lot easier to get around that it first appeared. Nihongo wa muzukashii desu ne keredomo mainichi wa sukoshii zutsu benkyo shite iru. In other words, I'm nowhere near to participating in abstract theological debates in Japanese (or even saying that), but I can order food, follow simple directions, and make baby-talk with strangers. Every little bit goes a long way.
I still miss everyone like crazy, but thanks to Skype (much JENNY ENDORSEMENT!!!) I talk either for free, or for totemo yasui (very cheap). I'm still really bothered by world issues and home issues like war, the environment, racism, sexism, and all those other big ickies that meticulously wrack my brain from every angle.

forever... She knows everything about
me. We've spent endless nights since
Jr. High, talking about everything and
nothing, both the good and the bad, and
AMAZING, she continues to be one of my
best friends!
We went rock climbing. She's really
good. Or maybe it's because I'm fat.
Anyway, so she's a good rock climber,
and she was acting like Spiderman (or
girl) while my butt was like staring up
wondering, dang, that's ummm....
pretty.... high. Yeah. So that's my
first memory of her. She's a cool girl.
And she laughs at my jokes. Although
I've been told I'm funny, I think it's
all just a hoax. People were told my
jokes all suck, so it's all pity
laughter!!! But Jenn laughs because she
genuinely thinks I'm funny. Maybe funny
looking...hmm... Yeah. Jenn's a dope
girl. You're dope. Payce.
does she have an appetite that rivals
most carnivorous species, but she
shows tender, loving, compassion at
the very same time she tears into that
which was once alive...if only there
were more Jenns in the world. But,
alas, there is no room for counterfeit
Jenns, for Jenn is Jenn and the one
and only Jenn. She's smart, she's
beautiful, she's got this great sense
of humor that I only wish I could
replicate, and she can put a smile on
your face (no, really, she put one on
a smile-less Jack-in-the-Box antenna
balls...she's got a heart of gold,
this girl). Oh, and you won't believe
how cute this girl is, she's like a
bundle of joy just waiting to explode,
man, do I love her spasmatic
quirks...Gotta love this girl, and you
will once you meet her. She's the best
friend a guy (or girl) could have, and
dude does she have wit or what? I give
Jenn two thumbs up, but only because
my third thumb is in a cast pointing
downward and it hurts to turn it. Luv
ya Jenn, stay the same girl ;) Peace.

Seriously Jen, Jason's right, you
can't just waltz up to our peaceful,
little city, be your awesome self, and
leave :( Couldn't we just keep a part
of you with us? Like a leg or an arm,
something that reminds us you were
here? Aww, well...I guess it can't be
helped. Note* To all viewers of the
Jennifer Testimonials section* You
must have noticed by now how much we
love our little Jen, yes, folks, not
only is she cute, friendly, and a
blast to be with, but she does Aikido
and has mastered the ways of the
karaoke. Yes, Jen is truly masterful
in all ways. She has such a magnetic
personality that at this very moment I
am choosing writing this testimonial
in honor of her over going to class
(of course, I'll go to class later,
but you get the point :) Well, Jen,
we'll miss you, I'm sorry I didn't
call you sooner to say this myself,
but I get up at 12 and you left at 10

one of my closest friends and i can
remember all the crazy things we've
gotten ourselves into, which btw
after "forever" is a lot of shiet!
She's so talented, smart, and funny.
The best conversationalist! i'm not
saying that cuz one of my best friends,
but because thats how jennifer really
is. I remember when we were in jr. high
and we'd hang out every sunday, talking
about who knows what. those where some
of the best times, the ones that you
cherish till you're butt-crack old!
Sean is lucky to be with her. And he
already knows that if he hurts her, i'm
kickin his ass. haha.
