About Me:
I like to think of myself as a work in progress, which
means that I know how much of an idiot I am and have vague
aspirations toward self-improvement. They're really vague,
though. I'm pretty much happy where I am right now. I love
to argue. I can't stress enough how much I love to argue.
I play a lot of pool, read a lot of books, drink and smoke
too much, and spend way too much time on
homestarrunner.com. My place is a mess, but I like it.

no other way of capturing the
hotchpotch of deep thought and
radically irreverent musings that
geyser from the mysterious depths of a
psyche that is, for lack of a better
term, collective in its finality. The
nostalgic yearning to recapture the
ancient and the immemorial thread him
together with a series of venerably
American characters such as Gatsby and
one of those Dreiser characters. Eckman
is the quintessential American type who
leaps into the future in order to
recapture the past. While the tasks he
undertakes seem less portentous than a
Dreiser novel, his bravado to pull off
a tobacco fetish in Michael Bloomberg's
New York makes him one of the few
daring American heroes left in our
perversely ironic late 20th century.

cool. This man is making it chique to
groove with Frank Sinatra tunes and
Dean Martin class. Dan is a 1950's kid
