      • Even though it has been three years
since I've seen Ben - I secretly stalk
him through the internet. He obviously
made a great impression when we met,
because I still await the day that we
can renew our first meeting. A sweet
guy with the biggest of best hearts
(and a hot little bod, too!) Seattle
        misses you.

      • Ben and I met in Madrid, which,
contrary to popular belief, is more
romantic than Paris or Rio. He is a man
        with excellent convictions, excellent
interests, an excellent loft that he's
all too quick to share, excellent
        appreciation for travel, excellent
        respect for nature, and excellent
kissing skills. Ben is, in fact, quite
        excellent!

      • About Me:

I own a 106 room 4-star luxury boutique hotel in midtown Phoenix - Clarendon Hotel + Suites. Coming to Phoenix? Hit me up for a room - www.theclarendon.net

As urban as I can be, I absolutely dig the outdoors where I can be free of man made machinery and noises and utterly isolated and either just sitting and watching how the world is interconnected or doing something that gives me a nice adrenaline rush.

I've traveled a bit and really want to travel more and don't mind taking a buddy with me on trips as long as they're a cool person. I've been to the following countries with the following highlights:

US - Alaska's isolation, kayaking and wildlife - Arizona's canyons and mountains - these top all the other states.
        Canada - eh?
        Mexico - Pyramids at Teotihuacan
Costa Rica - Volcanos and Wildlife
Brazil - Rio and the mountains
Argentina - Food, the Men, Iguazu Falls
British Virgin Islands - Relaxation and Snorkeling
        Taiwan - not much
Malaysia - it's modernism clashing with multiculturalism
Thailand - beaches, caves, rivers, cities, food and more
Laos - temples, markets, rivers, unspoiled beauty
Cambodia - ruins, tragic recent history, markets, crazy driving
        Korea - not many highlights
Australia - not impressed - Melbourne is like Portland, Sydney is like Seattle with a million ugly tweakers.
New Zealand - greeeeeeen, caving, rappelling, geothermal activity, glow worms - but all wildlife has been decemated.... go to Alaska instead.
Vanuatu - best snorkeling ever, most beautiful smiles, remote, unaffected people, no radio or television signals at all, and the best volcanos on earth!!!
England - like Peter Pan at night, but not all that.
France - Paris is always magical, no matter the time of year!
Germany - medieval meets modern industry - fast trains.
Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Holland - overrated tourism.
Spain - Barcelona, all of it! Madrid - if it weren't for Roberto, it'd be nothing to me.
Italy - Food, history, art, explorat

      • Who I Want to Meet:

I'd like to see a lot of the same traits as myself in someone else... Someone adorable and fun with a sense of adventure and an always positive and optimistic attitude. Someone with goals, dreams, and desires. Someone with common sense. Someone who can cook, fix things, and be self-reliant. Someone who's an incredible kisser. Someone who enjoys the finer things in life while enjoying the experiences that life has to offer - without labels, materialism, or the attitude that they're better than anyone else. And most of all, someone who realizes that through observation, all things have their fulfillment.
