Yes, we'll play that awful house stuff you want to bring. yes, your truck will fit in the garage.
full of strings and sounds from decades
past. Much more cohesive than he used
to be, but seeming to lack the
emotional and lyrical bite of the first
two years I knew him. His pace is
often jauntier, cheerier, peppier,
sometimes even twitchy and nervous in
places. His production is superb,
almost overwhelming, perhaps making one
reminisce fondly of the first time they
put either "Tigermilk" or "Sinister" on
their stereo."
sweet, smart, funny and can hold an
interesting conversation.
He also knows his music! I try not to
talk about music with him for this
reason - because I will not be able to
keep up.
supportive of what I was doing. Now
that is what I'm taking about. What can
I say that hasn't already been said
about this man. He is one of the few
guys that my girlfriend talks with that
she does not think is a slime ball. Now
that's saying something!
the 619 days many moons ago and I
thought Scott was (and still is) one of
the most genuine individuals that I've
met. Do you still have your tape
collection? It's always good to meet
up with Scott at reunion functions
(mosty weddings these days). A
pleasure. Cheers!

Scott one night. Joel (my husband) and
Scott were gabbing about music and
somehow the coversation led to The
Smiths. I openly admitted to Scott
that I don't particularly care for the
band. He must have been seriously
horrified by this confession. He
looked at Joel and then at me and
asked "how have YOU contributed
(musically) to this relationship
(between Joel and myself)?" I was
absolutely dumbfounded by this
question. My synapses weren't firing
fast enough. Quick... name some
bands/artists I like... "My Bloody
Valentine... Swervedriver... PJ
Harvey". Ahhh Scott, the only person I
know who can question me about my taste
in music. What great power you wield.

Music Geek Known to Me." I too owe him
a great debt for finding the obscure 7"
(Spinanes, "Hawaiian Baby") that eluded
my grasp. Though he makes snarky
remarks about non-Scott bands then
turns around and listens to Depeche
Mode wannabes, he's still a gem of a
guy.
college dorm, wearing my dramarama t-
shirt and carrying a love and rockets
poster under my arm. Scott approaches
me and says "I think we're going to get
along musically." Checking out his
collection of Alien Sex Fiend, Skinny
Puppy, and Front 242, I initially
doubted his assertion. 13+ year later I
realize he was dead-on. Now he's
turning me onto EBM and teaching me new
dance moves. I owe Scott for meeting my
wife and he will always be an
incredible friend!
