♪ he named the band "The Beatles," though Paul claims that the idea of "Beatles" instead of "Beetles" is his

James Paul McCartney

♪ 1st instrument: nickel-plated trumpet-bought by his Father, but later on Paul swapped it for Framus Zenith Acoustic Guitar
♪ 1st written song was "I Lost My Little Girl" (14 yrs old)
♪ John met Paul @ the Woolton Parish Church, during the performance of John’s group the Quarrymen(July 6, 1957)
♪ John was impressed by Paul’s ability to tune a guitar & by his knowledge of song lyrics, John asks him to join the group
♪ he debuted on Oct 18, 1957 as a Quarrymen
♪ he realised that other Liverpool bands were playing the same cover songs, which prompted him & John to write more original materials
♪ was married to Linda Eastman in Mar 12, 1969
♪ left the The Beatles in Apr 10, 1970 due to “personal, business and musical differences”

George Harrison

♪ was known as the "Quiet Beatle"
♪ 1st instrument: spanish-style acoustic guitar-1955, its a 12th birthday gift from his father
♪ Paul introduced the 14 yr old George to John
♪ John didnt like George because he was too young for the group, but Paul convinced John to allow him to join the band
♪ George wrote his first song "Don't Bother Me" in 1963
♪ He & Eric Clapton formed a close friendship in the late 60's & they co-wrote the song "Badge"
♪ he married model Pattie Boyd, on Jan 21, 1966 w/ Paul as the best man and on 1974 Pattie left him for Eric Clapton, though they still remained friends despite their relations with Boyd
♪ left The Beatles on Jan 10, 1969
♪ he died due to lung cancer

Richard Starkey Jr

♪ born July 7, 1940 (age 67)
♪ A.K.A. Ringo Starr or Ritchie
♪ originally met the band in Hamburg, in Oct 1960 while he was performing with Rory Storm & the Hurricanes
♪ Aug 18, 1961(Cavern) he sat in for Pete Best(original drummer of The Beatles) & the next day he replaced him at the Cavern permanently, some fans was furious about it, & George eventually received a black eye from one of Pete's Fan
♪ Aug 16, 1962, was declared the official drummer of The Beatles
♪ was married to Maureen Cox by Feb 11, 1965 and got divorce in 1975
♪ they had 3 children Zak(now drummer of Oasis), Jason and Lee and later on remarried himself to Barbara Bach in Apr 27, 1981
♪ after the band brokeup, he release his own solo album but failed to top the charts
