Fantastic. Watch it. Actually I don't like stories with unrealistic characters such as shinigamis (though they do exist, but not exactly in the form as they appear in the film). I like L's intelligence and love for sweets, and neko-ness! I really don't like the idea that the protagonist is a serial "kira" ("killer" in Japanese). I haven't read the manga yet.
