i like the quiet of the woods, where i can read in peace.
i read almost constantly. and i try to learn other
languages so i can read even more.

i sing in the dark folk band Stone Breath, and occasionally
record by myself, but usually when i'm not reading, i'm
painting -- Halloween, fantasy, surreal and anything that
amuses me. or sewing. i love fabric desperately. i love
to make elaborate costumes that i'll never wear anywhere
outside of the house, because i mostly just go sit in the
woods, or off in search of more books and fabric.

i get dizzy from flashing lights. i hate smoke with a
passion. my idea of a good time is going to an antique
postcard show, buying up some old Halloween postcards and
then going out for a cup of tea.

i'm the editor of a small newspaper, and live in a dirt-
cheap apartment with my boyfriend and our two cats and
piles and piles (and piles) of the things that we like.
oh, i also love video games. i mean, i LOVE video games.
and i can't wait until silent hill 3 comes out. :P
