Sadly, don't read much. Mostly The Economist and Entertainment Weekly. Love non-fiction/political books. Otherwise Tom Clancy's good, but he hasn't written anything I've liked in a while. Currently have the new David Sedaris going.
-
Favorite Movies:
Oh, too many to mention or remember. I'd have to be in a video store. A recent favorite was Lost in Translation. Memento was good. Hrmmm, again, too many. I went to the Sundance Film Festival again this year.

Mostly 80s but a little bit of everything actually. Have Kylie, Dave Brubeck, Harry Conick, Depeche Mode, Bob Marley, Squeeze, Michael Penn, some chill mixes, and a club mix in my car right now. Latest favorites are Postal Service (great title - "Give Up") and Scissor Sisters.

About Me:
Short white Jewish kid from Long Island. Total cliche. OK, here goes...stream of consciousness....Know who I am, what I want, and willing to do what it takes to get it (not totally Machiavellian though), loyal to a fault, big heart, in touch with myself, looking to grow, looking to share, love to talk, love more to listen, like to cook, always on the go, carpe diem, living life with no regrets, hopeless romantic, gullible, willing to try anything once, witty/sarcastic, cute, occasionally hot, favorite uncle, organized, trendy, foodie, horrible speller, excellent vocabulary, ok spanish, world traveler, organizer of groups, love the beach, love the desert, think too much, love dark and couchy places where I can chat with friends, love pulling apart the minutiae of life, recently into port, coxed the freshmen mens heavyweitght crew, ran the NYC marathon in 98, clothes whore, mechanical idiot, ESTJ, emotionally available, not flashy, mature, wise, single at the moment (but not alone or lonely)
Just moved back to NY after 7 1/2 yrs in SF so looking to enhance my circle of friends and of course meet Mr. Right.

Who I Want to Meet:
Love to explore all life has to offer - big time E that way. So, I want to meet people who can show me interesting things about themselves. I've even recently befriended a Republican. As for dating, I'm keeping myself open-minded since I think much more depends on chemistry than we allow ourselves. The people I tend to click with have a ton going on upstairs. Someone that can hold my attention after I've ripped their clothes off (if it gets that far). Generally I'm into regular guys who are smart, professional, challenging, cute, witty, know what they want, who they are, and are available to talk about it. Lookswise I'm usually into shorter white guys with broad shoulders. However, nothing is sexier than a knowing smirk.

love him dearly. I of course recommend
him highly as a friend or playmate (not
that I've ever played with his mate). His
and others' descriptions are right on, so
what can I possibly add to the lovefest?
A dose of reality, I guess: Know that
Jason is a very loyal fun smart cute New
York kind of guy - and also know that he
is a very busy boy with lots of friends
and interests. He's an excellent project
manager, he has lots of energy and his
life is VERY organized. so if you're
going to spend a lot of time with him, be
prepared to keep up! :)
he wrote about himself is spot on. Jason
is a thoughtful, thinking, neurotic,
peaceful, witty, sardonic, curious guy
who can be as revealing and candid as
he can be cautious and discreet.
Jason is cute and handsome (and there
is a difference) and quick with a
comeback on just about any subject. He
is well-read in both the NY
TIMES/ECONOMIST sort of way, but
also knows the latest skinny on [fill in
the blank celeb name] as an advid
Entertainment Weekly reader.
Happy to have him as a new friend in my
life. If you get a chance to hang with
him, do it.
Irish bar and life has not been the same
since. He's a really great, high-energy,
very thoughtful, smart, dynamic guy. He
does just as well sipping cosmos in hip
urban spots as drinking H2O from a
Nalgene bottle on a remote mountain
trail. A New Yorker (!), he's adapted
pretty well to California, but he hasn't
lost his New York urgency. He has
many good friends (I'm proud to be one),
works out his hot body almost everyday,
and sneezes while he's downing
chocolate. I had the pleasure of traveling
with him to New Zealand (where he
wasn't so good at remembering to drive
on the wrong side of the road), Greece,
England, and other spots. He's
passionate about movies and finally
convinced me to join him at the
Sundance Film Festival last month,
which was great fun. Anyway, I guess
this is a shameless plug for a really
good guy who deserves another.
adventure. He is firecracker funny,
wicked smart, and fascinating to talk
to. Jason gets along instantly with
everyone he meets. And you only have
to know him for 5 minutes before you
get to start making fun of his amusing
eccentricities. For example, he has
traveled all over the world but can't
peel a banana without using a knife.
He only reads one book a year, yet
devours "The Economist". He sneezes
three times when he eats chocolate.
He's great with kids; maybe this is why
he has been known to bring milk to
cocktail parties. OK OK he's my best
friend I have to make fun of him
because HE IS THE BEST!!! xoxoxoxo
intelligent people I know. We met
while travelling in Europe and have
stayed good friends ever since.
