Started at Oct. 20,2007... Gerard(former vocalist of Ideas Are Bulletproof) and Carlo (former guitarist of Necrothesis)decided to create a side band with 3 members, when asked what would be the name of the band, Carlo decided to call it 3gger, Tri666er or TriggeR...

First there was 3gger but then decided that it was too fucking short, then came Tri666eR and some of us decided that it was too fucking metal, and lastly we settled for the plain word TriggeR... Even though we have the same name in other countries... We will try to differentiate ourselves from those who are also named TriggeR...

Some people ask us where the hell is our bassist and we said that we don't have one, we didn't hire a bassist because we stayed true to the name trigger (3gger)... But we are open for Bass Sessionists (Because we do session bassists sometimes)
