About Me:
I grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. I now live in New Jersey.
I would probably describe myself as an average twenty
something searching for the hows and whys and wheres. I
enjoy writing and reading almost anything. Some of my
favorite authors are David Sedaris, Charlotte Bronte, Toni
Morrison and Dorothy Allison. I am on my road of life, and
where it takes me of course I don't know, but I think I'm
here for the living and learning and to live and learn is a

Well, she's been my best friend since
we were little kids, as a result of
circumstance and willingness, hehe.
She's got a bit of an emotional streak
to her, but nothing irrational or
frightening; it is just really apparent
that she feels very deeply and is not
afraid to let others see that. I think
this is why she is so good at writing,
poetry in particular. I have never
understood how to write a poem, but I
can recognize a good one when I read it-
odd, I know. Anyway, she is right
about me, I tend to be a little non-
confrontational, I think it's because
she punched me in the face once when we
were very small:( Too her credit, not
her skill, she was aiming for my
shoulder. But at least she was strong
enough to stand up for herself, while I
fell on the bed, melodramatically in
hysterics. Anyway, my sister has been
through some rough times, and for a
while I worried how things would turn
out. But in the end, she made us all
proud by standing up for herself and
her own pride, and succeeding despite
the odds against her. We all have our
own goals in life, and the pace at
which we live varies from person to
person; Michelle has taught me more
than she probably realizes, and when I
get scared about the future, I think of
what she and my other sister have lived
through, and it makes me that much
braver.
