since high school. Some words I think
of to describe Allison are BOLD,
Straightforward, Athletic, Artistic,
Secure and Uninhibited (unless it come
to dancing- for that she needs a couple
of drinks!!). Allison is always up for
trying new things, meeting new people
and having a good time. There is never
a dull moment! She truly is 'Living
Life and Loving It'!
Allison, like the rest of us is not perfect. She
is a terrible loser and she also has a
tendency to be a bit violent. If you make fun
of her, as I'm sure a few of you have, keep
an eye out for that right hook. She can also
be a bit of a brat with a mild case of
selfishness. She'll give you the sad face and
the pretty eyes and ask, "Can you do it for
me" blink, blink... Standing alone these traits
might be considered a turn off, but it is the
mix of her bad and good that make her
interesting and fun. I've been friends with
Allison for 13 years. I remember when she
spent her days running around a pond
chasing ducks covering herself in mud,
poop, and feathers while the rest of us went
skiing...Who chases ducks at a ski area
anyway? But, that is what I love about her.
Allison is spontaneous and unafraid of trying
new things. Except for food, something
about the texture of lettuce in her
mouth...She loves the outdoors even if the
weather isn't perfect, but she does have a
four day limit on going without a shower.
Showers in rivers don't count. She keeps her
activities pretty diverse. One minute she is
athletic the next artistic. And she always
strives for perfection at whatever she does.
Allison does slow it down every once in
awhile. Some of our best times were spent
talking until the early hours of the morning. I
could go on about her many qualities,
talents, and not so good qualities, but I don't
feel that I need to. She is a complicated
person with an array of traits smashed
together into a beautiful package. I'd never
want the good without the bad. Love you
