        dependable. There's a picture of Lane in
        leather with an evil smile on her face. If that
        image seems incongruous, you've only
        begun to scratch the surface of this
        remarkable woman. More stable than a
        pyramid, wiser than she has a right to be
        and game for just about anything; she never
        ceases to surprise me. I'm blessed with her
        friendship and kind consul.

        most wonderful horsewoman and
        has the yummiest treats. She can
        always calm me down when I'm
        spooked and really looks after me. A
        pony's dream!

      • I must echo M. What a totally
        together, incredibly competent,
        incredibly even keeled woman. A true
        grown-up. And so fucking smart. She
        can bring calm, efficient remedy to the
        most panicked of circumstances. She
        can make you feel safe. And, maybe
        because of this (and her all her
        creative wickedness) she can take you
        to some intensely edgy places.

      • Once in a while you meet someone who
        shares so much in common with you. It's like
        a mirror image of who you are. I guess I
        must have some of the great qualities that
        makes Lane such an interesting and lovable
        person, otherwise so many of my friends
        wouldn't have suggested that I meet her.
        She's more than hardworking and a tour de
        force with anything she turns her attention
        to. Through her I see certain aspects of
        myself - I like what I see - which is why I love
        her so.

        sharp as a tack, creative, organized
        and adventuresome. She is also low
        key and drama free. Quite simply,
        Lane Rocks. I'm glad to know her.
