Kristin Kreuk's Start

Kristin Kreuk was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She started acting in high school plays but never pursued it too much. Kristin just happened to be in the right place, at the right time, when during her senior year, an open casting call was faxed to her high school! She went to the audition and snagged a starring role on the short-lived Canadian TV show, Edgemont.

While working on Edgemont, Kristen went on to land an even bigger role. Twenty-two year-old Kristin Kreuk has been playing Lana Lang, Clark Kent's secret crush, on the WB hit Smallville, for four seasons now! When Kristen Kreuk's not solving mysteries in Smallville, the half-Dutch, half-Chinese actress lives in Vancouver - spending time with her friends and family. In Kristin Kreuk's down time she loves to go to the movies, read, dance and do gymnastics. Most recently Kristen has been working on the flick Partition, which is set in 1940's India.
