I gave up my type casting a while back. Ideally one should

weird and funny tales that you would
swear are out of some movie, but are
actually just a day in the Life of John.
He's wise, kind, funny and very good to
just chill with. John makes you feel
safe and at the same time you know he's
got some Danger lurking under his skin,
but all in good fun. Yay, John!
remember the many trips John and I took
in my 1986 Chevy Astro van, driving out
of state to stage races. The best
times being the overnite drive from
Silver City, NM back to the bay area
listening to John tell the stories of
all the crazy stuff he's done in his
life. John is a special nugget of
thousands of great stories. One of the
things I respect most about John is
that he doesn't hide behind any
facade. John is true to himself and
others and he pursues his interests
fully. And (AND) John is fucking high-
lariously Funny. Thinking of John
always makes me smile. Respect.
had. he adopted my dog when i moved to
thailand, he hung out with my mom almost
everyday after her surgery and during
her chemo. it took him three years to
learn how to set the table, but LOOK
OUT! now. when he is not talking he is
good listener. most importantly, he
takes Halloween seriously. john is my
best friend for life!!

wild three day binges, strippers or stumbling
up 6th street at 9 in the moring on a Sunday.
What I will say is that John is a very
introspective person. A person who listens
thoughtfully to what you have to say and
responds intelligently. One might think he was
over one hundred years old by the amount of
life experience and stories he has under his
belt. It is these stories the are continually
revealed that makes being around him more
and more interesting all the time.

There are many layers to this tasty
onion that is John's character. Don't
be fooled by something amiss in one of
his layers for the core is still as
kind and as decent as they come.
