What I enjoy doing:
Soldering irons, photocopiers, too many sneakers, vintage typewriters, tattooes of photocopiers and typewriters, woodworking, fast music and also sad music, taking apart everything I can get my hands on, building everything you can imagine.
-
Favorite Books:
someone else's spiral bound notebook. Also: "The Autobiography of Red" by Anne Carson is amazing. Also Raymond Carver, Doestovesky, Kafka, Camus, Thomas Mann, Asimov. I'm a huge fan of short fiction.
-
Favorite Movies:
I'm not a big movie person either. I loved Amelie, that might have been the last thing I saw. I know there's a whole bunch of movies I like, but it's been years.
-
Favorite Music:
Crass Records releases, Swedish HC., What Happens Next?, Life's Halt!, Municipal Waste, Edith Piaf, Suzanne Vega, Moving Units, Discount
-
Favorite TV Shows:
I used to love "The Secret Life of Machines" when I was a kid. Otherwise, haven't watched too much TV in years.
-
About Me:
I'm a dirty kid who works 12 hour night shifts and then sort of wanders around town a lot when I'm not working. I used to be all full up of dreams and was always writing and drawing but now I'm more about sneakers and coffee and just sort of being around. I feel older than I am in that achey sort of grizzled way, while I'm also really immature. I have a lot of friends and I'm blessed by them all but I'm not so close. I also take apart, repair, break, build from scratch, and tinker with a whole lot of stuff; right now i'm in the middle of building a mess of electronics, furniture, instruments and amplifiers. I really like coffee, I have a chocolate problem but gave that up. I smoke and drink a lot more than I should and don't ever eat. I'm just sort of another random kid. I smile a lot and cry a lot. I get smitten way too easy and will gladly give you my heart after an afternoons conversation across the coffee table. I have a photocopier of my own and a really old typewriter and a cat that I love more than anything. I'm really tired and incoherent right now so this is poorly written, but I really like that idea.

Who I Want to Meet:
Friends who actually care enough to be friends, and also people to cuddle with.
S., circa back a few years ago when things were cool and we were partners in crime and totally on the same page.
Also: Allison Mosshart and also Greg Ginn.

tumor grew in my heart. of course, my
blood cells weren't wearing proper gear
and in the midst of my demise my
health began to mime my spirit of
swollen droll motels, gutted valentines
and "love me daddies", etc... Joshua
saved the days . He s l o w ly l y licked
the seal to the envelope to seal our
combined intentions for a life for me
beyond a gurney (sp?)
Through his tender locks of lanky sweet
patient love, (and smart filling humor,oh
my!) I was able to pull through the womb
of Vourmont then was projected all the
way into a lovely Irish pub in California.
His tendons were to the sling shot as
his sweat and my tears were to Dale's
last race. God loves josh, and muther
fuckers, so do I.
Thank you Joshua,
motorcycle boots with red spiky hair half-covered
with the ubiquitous bandana the day i met him.
several years and hundreds of conversations
about the ramones later, i hear he's got long hair
and a beard. hippie. (love you).

_______________JOSH
______________ROCKS!
rock-sweet-generous-quiet type. really
not like any other person in this
universe. he tells me i'm beautiful
and makes sure i've had enough to eat.
who wouldn't want to love josh? even
when he's assuring you that he's not as
sweet as you think, you know he really
is as sweet and wonderful and more.
oh, josh. i love you.
street jeans on cool sumer nights
talking to josh about life, love, and
punk rock. i'm always astounded in
the passion he has when it comes to
working on projects. I know many
people who say that'd like to be able
to do something; to make something; to
learn it. josh is one of the few
people i have ever met who takes the
next step and does what he sets out to
do.
if there were more people in this
world like josh, it would be a much
better place for all of us to live in.
me with his obvious beauty,(which of
course, he disputes)he is a friend
above friends on most levels I have
ever known. I feel honored and
sometimes smitten that he is my
friend. Sometimes I wish that he was
my boyfriend, he's the kind of
neurotic dream boat that (in my
fantasy realm) could balance me and my
madness out. I have to say as much of
an ignigma as he may be percieved as
being in this town, on my honor he is
a true blue sweet, good, and "good for
awesome" person. Hey, I love this kid.
Josh, thank you. Really.
I wish that he would call me over
for wine sometime. *heart*
(and cutest) boy in the world and I'm
totally grateful for all the time I've
ever spent with him. I love you
Joshua. Put down that cigarette.
smiles and he smiles lots. even
laughs sometimes.
can build an arcade is a good person
to the max
