I am a bass player, teacher, and music/arts activist. Presently, I am working on a project for the empowerment of the musical community, including: musicians, educators, music programs, students, venues, management, agents, production, tech, and societies. We are striving to create a cooperative approach to helping each other while, in the process, giving a real base of economic, social, and spiritual empowerment to those involved. MyGigNet has, already, pulled together a team of dedicated and qualified individuals, whose desire is to see this through. It is viable and feasible. Anyone interested should contact me. Serious involvement only. We have worked on this for 10 years, with the last 4 being meticulously dedicated to functional fulfillment and funding.

We have been used, degraded, and pushed off to the fringes of societal survival and submission. The time to take what is rightfully ours -- the creative process and the fruits of its labors. There is success in the selling of product, which is making others rich. Sites are being set up, by corporations, that capitalize on our output. Who is advocating for the ones who are making the musical building blocks for their towering empires? MyGigNet. Join us, if you have the courage. I, for one, am not going to put up with the "tin cup and pencils" begging for a handout crap. Apparently, there are a lot of us who feel the same.
