Other education:
I'd like to think I like where I am. Northwestern's pretty happening.
-
What I enjoy doing:
Going on adventures (Who wants to take the "All Colors of the El" trip with me? Oh, it's gonna happen.), eating omelettes (mm yummy), brainstorming about comics I'll one day draw, stories I'll one day write (maybe), hmm. I'm out of interests...
-
Favorite Books:
(see below)
-
Favorite Movies:
I miss the Muppet movies more than I miss Road Rules Europe. And that's saying a lot.
-
Favorite Music:
(see the "About Me" section for a discussion of my dilemma in listing hobbies/interests and favorites)
-
Favorite TV Shows:
Several years ago I had a soft spot for Reality TV, but now the genre's just gotten out of hand. I miss the days of Road Rules Europe, when I was twelve and watching MTV was way cool and I loved tuning into the exploits of attractive twenty-somethings.

About Me:
Whenever strangers or interviewers or, in this case, online friend services ask me what my hobbies/interests are, I'm at a loss. Do compulsions count as hobbies/interests? I make a lot of lists. And I enjoy making them. I'd like to fancy myself an accomplished letter writer, but I never write any. I have a similar problem naming favorites...there are certainly musicians and books and etc. that I don't like (I say NO! to Yanni and Kenny G, also to Grendel, Fahrenheit 451, and The Awakening [what a horrible, horrible book] to name a few), and those I rather like (Freddie Mercury--what an angelic voice! Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z--what inspired rhymes! and Plutarch makes me chuckle...) but FAVORITES!? Whoa, horsey. Don't think I'm ready to commit to those just yet.

Tennessean than I am. That would bother
me, but she's also got more limitless
kindness than I do, so I'll concede the
whole heritage bit. Anything to keep
Carol around.
Bacchus nights, to fling at the field,
Carol is the coolest most ghetto-
dancing white girl I know. I had such
a friend-crush on her in highschool,
and I am delighted that she and I
ended up in the same place for
collegeland. I only wish we saw each
other more than once a quarter. Carol
rocks the casbah and the spartan
palace.
