Infinity is a cebu based Post-Hardcore band and Alternative Rock band from Lapu-Lapu City with a fusion of Metal and RapMetal. Infinity was originally formed on NOVEMBER 2007 with current members DIONEMAR on Vocals, IVANLESTER on Lead Guitars, PETER on Rhythm Guitars and Backing Vocals, NELSON on Bass Guitars, and NICO on Drums. Former Members were Raffy and Ronald. They were the ex-members of the band they left the band for some personal reasons.
The History of the band is when Nico, the former Drummer of CRYWOLF band invited Dionemar to join the band and to be a backing vocals. Dionemar joined the band but he think it is better to be a lead vocalist of his potential in screaming so he left Crywolf a few days and make a band. He recruited Peter, Ivan, Nico, and Raffy. Peter named the band INFINITY. Later on, after their very own first gig Raffy left the band because he wants to focus on studying that’s why he left the band and Nico is searching for a new guitarist. He recruited Ronald at school. Instead of a guitarist, they decided Ronald to put on a Bass Guitars and Peter was replaced and he is on a Rhythm Guitars from Bass Guitars and Ivanlester was on Lead Guitars instead of Rhythm Guitars. The band is now complete and they started writing songs on APRIL 2008. They joined many activities or gigs such as Battle of the bands, guest band, etc. After 6 months, Ronald left the band for some personal reasons. The band was on a hiatus for a weeks only. They are searching for a new Bass Guitarist and finally they found a new bassist. Nelson recruited to the band from the bassist of the EXHAUST band here in Lapu-Lapu City. The band is now finally complete. The band is continuing writing songs to spread their music and performed many gigs here in Cebu and Lapu-Lapu City. They will be recording their songs soon :)
