Well guys, as of 9/24 i'm officially mrs. matthew potter!! we got married in a grove of pines on a lake and it was just so pretty there :-) in any case, now that the wedding is over my brain is finally working again and i'm back to focusing on my private practice.

I've spent most of my life working to become a therapist and now that I am one, it was definitely time well spent. I like working with trauma survivors.....it's so fascinating. I used to work with Vietnam vets and it was the most amazing job. I would've never guessed that I'd like it, but those veterans were some of the most wonderful people I've ever known. They tend to be so honest and down to earth, and the loyalty with which they stick together is inspirational. Those are the qualities I would like to see more of these days.

Anyhow, I'll try just about anything....but my favorite pasttime will always be spending time with my friends. Other than that, I am very liberal....pro environment, anti bush. I love being outdoors. The things that energize me the most are laughing, hiking, and dancing. I also love to travel....Vietnam and Amsterdam were my favorite trips so far. I drank snake blood with the hill people in Vietnam and, as intended by such rituals, grew me some masculinity....... :-)
