TV is a drug and not the good kind.

When I was a small child I was given a rabbit doll and I loved it very dearly. Eventually it got very old and frayed so my parents tried to substitute a new version of the same model of doll for the old beat up one.

This was extremely traumatic for me - viz, how one rabbit could simply replace the existance of the other one.

Realizing that I would never be psychologically together if they threw away the old, beat up rabbit, they eventually let me keep both of them.

To this day I still prefer the older, more decrepit rabbit.
